Agent Licensing/Contract Coordinator (Hybrid)

Summary
As an Agent Licensing/Contract Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring agents are properly licensed, appointed, contracted, and provided with credentials to applicable systems. You will manage agent data across multiple platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency, support internal teams, and accurately enter commission rate structures into multiple systems. Assists Business Development team with new appointments, book transfer codes and Agreements, adding / removing lines of business, terminations, and address changes by providing administrative support. Works closely with other team members and the Business Development department to address contracting and licensing issues and follows up with the appropriate departments when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage agency contracts from standard templates to ensure compliance. Assists in proofreading all contracts before they are sent out for signature.
- Enters and updates Agency commission rates into multiple systems based on agency contracts, commission schedules, and bonus compensation letters.
- Performs various duties relating to agent appointments, book transfers, adding / removing lines of business, terminations, and address changes along with other responsibilities which include preparing / processing of all necessary documentation and maintaining information across multiple Company platforms.
- Conducts necessary reviews of licenses as well as completes audits of appointed licenses.
- Calculates and requests payment for Agent licensing fees.
- Collect, organize, and compile data from structured reports including, but not limited to, monthly licensing activity results and agent appointment activities.
- Responds accordingly to issues and concerns relating to Agency Set-up and contract requests identified by members of the Business Development department and/or agency force bringing each issue to a timely and satisfactory conclusion and promptly notifying the appropriate individuals of action taken.
- Works with vendors and our agents to ensure all agent locations have accounts set up respectively.
- Manages contact information and sets up credentials for agency staff and Mapfre internal staff providing them access to Mapfre systems. Issuing, updating, and rescinding credentials in adherence with Company guidelines are included.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Technical or specialized knowledge or equivalent, related experience.
- 1 - 3 years or High School equivalent plus 3 - 5 years.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, time-management and planning skills.
- Personal Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internal Systems administration required.
- Basic Knowledge of internal systems.
- Ability to follow complex, multi-step procedures and protocol to accurately complete assigned responsibilities.
- Attention to detail with ability to proofread and edit documents necessary.
- Knowledge of TronWeb, V12, and AS400 preferred

Pay Transparency: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range: $41,200 - $54,500
