Bilingual Communications Program Manager, Data & AI (Boston or Webster, Hybrid)

The Communications & Program Manager, Data & AI is a highly visible, trusted partner to the Chief Data & AI Officer (CDAIO) and their leadership team. This role blends executive communications, governance support, and program coordination to ensure Data and AI initiatives are clearly communicated, well-governed, and delivered with rigor.
You will lead the creation of bilingual (English/Spanish), executive- and Board-ready communications and presentations, manage the CDAIO’s executive workflow, and coordinate senior-level committee operations. The role also establishes and maintains the operating cadence across the Data & AI portfolio, structuring milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables using Microsoft 365, Planner, and Jira.
Responsibilities

Develop Management Committee and Board of Directors–ready presentations from draft content, including storyline development, executive-level visuals, and speaker notes.

Ensure all materials meet high standards for editorial quality, executive storytelling, and brand alignment.

Draft executive summaries and talking points; prepare bilingual (English/Spanish) materials as needed.

Maintain presentation templates and standards to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.

Prepare daily and weekly executive briefings highlighting decisions, risks, deadlines, and pre-read materials.

Coordinate all aspects of the AI and Data Committee (AIDC), including agendas, timelines, pre-reads, minutes, and action tracking.

Produce structured reporting for steering and management forums, consolidating inputs into clear, executive-ready packets.

Act as a high-exposure liaison with senior leaders, committee and Board contributors, vendors, and partners.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
Executive & Operational Support

Support the CDAIO with calendar management and inbox triage, protecting focus time and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Support CDAIO teams with coordination of vendor sessions, demos, and event logistics.

Maintain official Teams and SharePoint repositories, ensuring version control, permissions, compliance, and historical recordkeeping.
Program & Portfolio Management

Support Data & AI teams in tracking KPIs, outcomes, and budget items (POs, accruals, actuals vs. plan), preparing concise variance explanations and forward-looking obligation summaries.

Establish and maintain portfolio trackers and RAID logs, ensuring active dependency management and timely status reporting.

Standardize operating cadence through templates, defined inputs, and regular check-ins.

Support OKR and quarterly reviews; escalate decisions to the CDAIO with clear context and options.

Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, capturing actions, owners, and due dates and ensuring follow-through to closure.

Build, maintain, and continuously improve Microsoft Planner and Jira plans, boards, templates, and dashboards; coach team members and ensure data quality for reporting.

Integrate tools seamlessly with Teams and SharePoint environments.

Operate independently in execution and follow-through while appropriately escalating decisions and trade-offs.

Influence without authority to drive cross-functional alignment and quality standards; may coordinate contractors and vendors.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or Business Analytics (required)

Advanced degree or Project Management certification (CAPM/PMP) preferred
Experience & Skills
-
6–10+ years supporting C-level executives as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, and/or Program or Project Coordinator/Manager

Experience in Technology, Data, AI, or similarly complex enterprise environments

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Excel)

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Planner and Jira (or similar tools)

Deep understanding of governance rhythms, executive and committee reporting, portfolio tracking, and executive communications

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $100,000 - $120,000
