Summary
Responsibilities
- Develop and supervise analyst-level employees and/or subordinate managers.
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business within the Data Analytics & Reporting unit and design and implement solutions to meet these needs.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience Required or
- Associate’s Degree equivalent with 6-8 years’ experience Required
- 4-6 years' experience or equivalent related knowledge Required
- The incumbent must have experience in supporting at least 2 of the following areas of the business: Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Information Technology, Product, Actuarial, Business Development, or Advanced Analytics
- Incumbents in this role should have at least 3 of the following experiences: * Taking on a role in different function, such as IT or Advanced Analytics, to bring increased knowledge and perspective back to Business Intelligence (especially important for the Advisor and Senior Advisor levels) * Participating in or leading a cross functional team * Participating in or leading complex projects * Completing an assignment in another team/department * Working on a global project team
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects arising from various functional areas simultaneously.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range
$121,900 - $191,100
