Solutions Delivery Manager

Job Summary

Manage the solution delivery of Advanced Analytics (AA) projects, ensuring the use of the appropriate frameworks and tools, the collaboration with IT and the Business, and the obtention of innovative and successful results in time. For some specific complex Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and Natural Language Projects (NLP) projects: develop and implement different algorithms, sharing the knowledge with the AA team members. Work with the client to attain a fit for purpose solution to fulfill a business aim/objective. Understand and break down client problems, implement delivery best practices to ensure top-notch solution execution.

This role will report to the Head of Advanced Analytics and will not have direct reports. Salary expectations are $140k-$175k with bonus eligibility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education: Masters Degree or equivalent, related experience.
Experience: 8 or more years - or Bachelor's Degree equivalent plus 10 or more years.
Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of practices within field. Integrates and evaluates new advancements in industry, concepts, techniques and standards to contribute to successful business results. Considered an expert in the field within the organization.
Decision Making: Makes complex decisions interpreting company policy, for which there is no set procedure. Decisions influence success for projects of significant impact importance, client relationships, expenses and or ability to meet organizational objectives.
Supervision Received: Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives.
Leadership: Plans and conducts assignments generally involving the larger more complex projects. May lead or direct projects of significant importance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering a wide range of analytical solutions with focus on ML, DL, NLP, … working with the solutions delivery team following the lines below:
• Providing expertise and leadership around adopting best in class processes and techniques for AA modeling and statistical analysis;
• Working with the solutions delivery team on advanced, complex projects or business issues requiring a high expertise of technical (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, etc.) or data knowledge, ensuring the success of the solution;
• Leading the solution of projects that use both structured and unstructured data and the appliance of appropriate cleansing techniques to make data suitable for advanced modeling exercises;
• Ensuring the execution of very sophisticated predictive modeling skills & solid insurance knowledge to design & develop outstanding analytic solutions for multiple business areas reflecting your experience and current market conditions;
• Assuring the right development and implementation of models in our cloud platform (in AWS), taking advantage of all the services and opportunities;
• Ensuring an adequate monitoring of both the project and model results.
• For specific innovative and complex projects: develop, research and architect machine learning, Deep Learning, NLP algorithms( transforming natural language data into meaningful features), Graph algorithms, Sharing the knowledge and results with different data scientists
• Implementing best practices in the model development, deployment and results monitoring. Ensuring the projects provide an aligned economic impact to the estimated CBA
