Level: Open to Product Analyst and Senior Product Analyst (based on experience)
What You’ll Do
- Drive Product Performance
- Analyze profitability, growth trends, and key performance drivers across states and agencies
- Identify opportunities to improve results and expand market share
- Turn Data into Strategy
- Develop clear, data-backed recommendations for pricing, underwriting, and product changes
- Present insights and proposals to leadership and key stakeholders
- Own Cross-Functional Initiatives
- Partner with Actuarial, Underwriting, IT, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to bring product changes to market
- Lead initiatives from analysis through implementation
- Lead Rate & Product Reviews
- Evaluate internal data, competitor positioning, and market trends
- Help design and execute rate, rule, and form changes
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor regulatory updates and collaborate with Legal on filings
- Manage timelines and deliverables for state filings
- Build & Communicate Requirements
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for IT
- Support testing and ensure accurate implementation
- Work with Data Tools
- Use Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and tools like Snowflake or SAS to analyze data and uncover insights
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of relevant experience (or 4–6 years with an associate degree)
- Experience supporting Personal Lines Insurance required, specifically Auto and/or Homeowner’s products is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of profitability and forecasting
- Experience working with data (Excel required; Snowflake/SAS a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of insurance pricing/actuarial concepts preferred
- Curiosity, initiative, and comfort working through ambiguity
- Progress toward industry designations (CPCU, ARM, AU) is a plus

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $60,000 - $115,000
