Summary:
Manage and maintain a DevSecOps strategy that supports an enterprise-wide IT environment. This includes maintaining procedures and protocols to support Quality Assurance. Manage the testing platform activities with other areas of IT in conjunction with the IT Change Control process. Develop and promote new processes, procedures and solutions that enable improved resilience, reliability, and availability of our application portfolio. Provide management reports of code quality, security, automated performance and testing activities, service level agreement performance results and systems' metrics for trend analysis. Lead discussions on the use and adoption of AI and maturing Ways of Working.
In addition, participate in discussions and decision-making processes with all levels of IT staff and management, as well as on project teams. Act as a champion for DevOps and Automated Testing throughout IT and make recommendations to effect positive change and improve quality, security, agility and velocity.
Responsilbilities:
- Work with IT and business areas to integrate and mature DevOps and Automation into the overall project lifecycle process.
- Manage and continuously look to improve all automated functional, regression and acceptance of end-user testing, load and performance testing, and ongoing applications monitoring for availability and performance.
- Oversight of Source Control Repositories, Build & Deploy throughout lifecycle.
- Partnering with other IT teams to recommend solutions for automation and efficiency gains to streamline processes.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the team.
- Establish quality gates, Service Level Indicators, Service Level Objectives, DORA metrics and produce data/reports on performance against established KPIs. Provide regular IT Service Level Agreement reports including trend analysis and recommendations.
- Participate in providing training, enabling and adoption of AI tools, and techniques to enable and improve quality and site reliability and efficiency practices.
- Make recommendations and collaborates with IT Sr. Management regarding improvements to the application development process or architecture which will improve quality, resiliency, availability, performance and efficiency of IT systems and applications.
- Utilize performance and monitoring tools to objectively assess IT Quality and provide periodic results to IT leaders and business areas.
- Actively participate in and perform as a Manager for DevOps, Automated Testing Platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field, or equivalent, related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train and motivate staff to achieve individual, department, and company goals.
- Skilled in project management practices, techniques, scheduling, resource/budget management, scope control, and change control practices, with a thorough working knowledge of System Development Methodology.
- Experienced in planning, estimating project work efforts, and leading others in this activity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $120,000 - $160,000
