Intern - Integration Engineer

This internship is located in Webster, MA and must be able to work on-site.

This is a 10-week summer internship from June 5, 2023 and ending August 11, 2023.  Interns will typically work a 4-day workweek at 32 hours / week.  Interns work with their department supervisor to determine weekly schedules.  Interns must commit to the 10-week program for the summer and participate in planned training and activities.

Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program.  Must be able to provide own transportation.

Internship Position Description:

The Integration Engineering intern will work with the middleware team who is responsible for the integration of data between applications and external Vendors throughout the organization. They will be assigned tasks to design, develop, test and deploy real time and batch integration under the supervision of a peer mentor. 

Department-specific responsibilities, project description and deliverables

Responsibilities:

• Attend daily standup and report status
• Design and Document solution
• Code Solution and create JUnit Tests
• Participate in code review process with peers.
• Present solution to team.

College Level Preferred:

• Undergraduate (Rising Junior/Senior)

Majors and/or Coursework Preferred:

• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Computer Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving ability

• Database Knowledge (Mongo, SQL Service, Oracle)
