This is a 10-week summer internship from June 1, 2026 and ending August 7, 2026. Interns will typically work a 5-day workweek at 38.75 hours / week. Interns work with their department supervisor to determine weekly schedules. Interns must commit to the 10-week program for the summer and participate in planned training and activities.
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program. Must be able to provide own transportation.
Internship Position Description:
The Direct Business team is responsible for our direct-to-consumer distribution channel, including our online quoting application and traffic sourcing efforts. This is necessarily a data-driven endeavor, with the data products which we design, develop, and support used as critical assets to support our policy acquisition decision-making.
This individual within this role will be responsible for supporting and improving upon data-driven efforts for the department. Responsibilities will include data transformation and automation, migration of data to Snowflake databases, and report creation and maintenance. A strong analytical background and coding skills are recommended.
Department-specific responsibilities, project description, deliverables, etc.:
- Data asset migration to Snowflake databases.
- Automate manual data gathering, transformation, and presentation processes.
- Create reports and perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

Not required, but coursework in mathematics, statistics, data analytics, business, finance, would be helpful.
