Job Summary

Position is Hybrid based in Webster, MA or can be Boston, MA with the ability to come to Webster for training and meetings. 

 

Serve as a strategic Human Resources leader and working cross functionally across diverse operational and business support functions, responsible for managing and implementing enterprise-wide organizational design and development strategies by applying strong business acumen and expertise in organizational design and talent intelligence.  This role advances overall company strategy by ensuring alignment of Organization and Talent Intelligence priorities with MAPFRE’s corporate financial and organizational goals. 

 

Collaborate with global corporate office, IT, HR and other business leaders to develop insights, analyze workforce changes, and align human capital with company strategy.  Design, communicate and oversee talent intelligence strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and decision-making processes.  Through data, predict workforce staffing needs and manage organizational staffing needs.

 

Manage HRIS development, influence structural design, collaborate with Corporate HR and local IT, including testing and maintenance of systems supporting the Organization and Talent Intelligence function.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred

Experience: 9-11 years or Master’s Degree equivalent plus 7-9 years 

Knowledge: Extensive level of professional knowledge in field across multiple disciplines and broad business segments.  Extensive knowledge of management practices.
Leadership:  Middle manager who typically manages high level exempt employees, subordinate managers or supervisors and may manage multiple functions disciplines.  Provides guidance based on organizational goals and company policy.  Responsible for numerous functional and/or technical projects. Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance requirements. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions with senior business leaders, integrating workforce issues with business strategy 
  • Through cross functional collaboration with business leaders, design, create, and implement models combining business intelligence and talent intelligence   
  • Create automated solutions using advanced techniques to enhance business performance and workforce productivity while enhancing decision making speed  
  • Identify, recommend and implement long and short-term system solutions on a global platform; improve and streamline processes; enhance HR functions; and reduce workflows through the use of technology
  • Define, develop and maintain key HR metrics in support of business objectives and key indicators driving business decisions. Supports all reporting activities of HR functional areas and the organization  Establish protocol and identify trends resulting in adverse impact on corporate planning and business strategy 
  • Create and maintain complex queries using modern reporting tools and modeling techniques, with ability to multiple data sources 
  • Work with highly confidential information which, if disclosed, could have an adverse impact internally and externally on matters as they relate to company policies, procedures and practices 
  • Predict workforce staffing needs and manage organizational staffing and budgets

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of and successful experience applying project management principles and methodology
  • Proven project leadership experience
  • Experience working in complex global business environment preferred
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and/or global projects and initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge/skills in Python, SQL, SAS, VBA, Excel, Access, Power BI, and other analytical tools
