Join Mapfre's paid 10-week Summer Internship Program and gain hands-on experience inside one of the most critical areas of the insurance industry: Claims.

As a Claims Innovation Intern, you'll experience far more than a traditional claims internship. You'll spend time alongside Claims professionals, observe real-world customer interactions, explore field operations, and learn how technology supports the claims process. Most importantly, you'll bring your own perspective to help identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the customer experience, and support innovative ways of working.

What You'll Do

• Shadow Claims professionals across multiple functions and specialties.
• Observe real-world claim situations and customer interactions in both office and field environments.
• Gain exposure to auto physical damage, coverage reviews, liability investigations, and Claims technology, including Guidewire.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences.
• Collaborate on an innovation-focused project with Claims professionals.
• Participate in mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Majoring in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in business, technology, analytics, customer experience, or insurance.
• Coding, programming, or data analytics experience is a plus.

Pay Transparency: The typical starting pay range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hr
