Business Intelligence Analyst II (U/W / Product Analyst)

Summary
Builds and maintains ad hoc analysis. Performs advanced data analysis and translates business needs into high-quality requirements for reporting and visualization. Ensures data integrity, and delivers actionable insights through prescriptive recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Develop datasets that serve as sources for various reports and enterprise data marts.
- Analyze datasets – perform exploratory analysis and data manipulation or for deliverables.
- Leads or facilitates meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well-documented, high-quality requirements to support future reporting and visualizations.
- Assists in the development of complex ad hoc reporting.
- Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives.
- Provides prescriptive recommendations for action as part of reporting based on analysis of requested data.
- Applies data best practices to ensure the quality and accessibility of assembled datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience Required
- 4-6 years' experience or equivalent, related knowledge Required
- Incumbents in this role should have at least 2 of the following experiences:
- Participating in or leading a cross functional team
- Participating in or leading complex projects
- Completing an assignment in another team/department

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range
$87,700 - $130,000
