Business Controller

Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make an impact? We’re looking for a Business Controller to serve as the financial expert for one or more of our key business units. In this role, you’ll partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance, challenge assumptions, and deliver insights that shape business strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Analyze trends and variances, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize cost allocations and identify savings.
• Enhance financial models and reporting for better decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in financial leadership (insurance industry experience required).
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence at all levels.
• Experience in a similar capacity within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range $87,700 - $124,500
