Manager, Insurance Product Analytics (Hybrid or Remote)

Job Summary
Help create insurance product strategy, drive rapid insurance product development and support all state expansion efforts. Analyze and monitor insurance product performance to make data-based decisions regarding underwriting, coverage, and pricing to drive continuous improvement. Support internal and external partners to drive state strategy. Act as a product line expert and maintain a thorough knowledge of product features and benefits, as well as industry product trends; provide product expertise to various internal areas, including product, engineering, growth, and claims. Foster competitive intelligence through monitoring of competitor pricing and product activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.
Experience: 7 - 9 years or Associate’s degree equivalent plus 9 - 11 years.
Knowledge: Complete understanding and knowledge of industry, practices, standards, and concepts within field of work and broad business segment. Solid knowledge of management practices.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- One or more years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Expertise in personal lines preferred but not required.
- Experience developing and implementing products, underwriting and coverage programs preferred.
- Highly skilled in data, modeling and analytics
- Agile with a growth mindset
- Fluent in SQL, python or other programing language
- Strategic Communication
