Join our team as a Compliance Analyst and help ensure our nationwide operations stay compliant with state and federal law. You’ll gain hands-on experience with licensing, product filings, and cross-functional collaboration—all while building a strong foundation in regulatory operations.
In this role, you will keep our licenses current, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help ensue our products meet regulatory standards. You’ll need to stay sharp, organized, and ready to pivot as priorities shift.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain business and administrative licenses across all U.S. jurisdictions.
- Assist in complex compliance procedures with oversight, including regulatory and risk reviews.
- Coordinate with state regulators, lenders, and internal teams to ensure timely filings and updates.
- Respond to consumer reviews and identify trends to drive process improvements.
- Assist with product filings and updates to meet both state and lender requirements.
- Keep leadership informed with regular updates on review status, licensing progress, and emerging issues.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and support team initiatives with flexibility and speed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with relevant experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in compliance, legal, or business operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range: $46,900 - $64,400
